Arthroscopy allows for joint exploration and treatment, by means of optic fibers and a video monitor.<\/strong> To access the joint, we have to distract the joint space using an external fixation or an orthopedic table to strongly pull the patient\u2019s foot. The surgeon performs this intervention under radioscopic control for better access to the joint during surgery.<\/p>\n A camera is inserted into the hip via a small incision (a few mm in length), allowing the surgeon to view the entire joint.
