Raised in Var (in the South of France), I earned my medical degree and did my surgical training at the School of Medicine in Lyon. I was an intern, then an Assistant, and then Chief Resident at Lyon’s Hospice. Afterwards, I traveled to the United States to study emerging knee surgery techniques.
Lyon is a famous French school for knee and sports surgeries, so I was able to specialize in this area, which I have continued to pursue since settling my medical practice in Nice, in 1993.
Orthopaedic surgery :
I focus on knee, hip, and shoulder surgeries. Over the years, my interest in sports surgery has led me to take care of many football players from the OGC Nice team, as well as professional skiers through my involvement in the French Skiing Federation, and athletes from other disciplines.
Inherent in my area of expertise is prosthetic surgery, with a special interest for the latest mini-invasive techniques and for computer-assisted surgery.
This web site does not claim to be exhaustive. It just tries to deliver the clearest and simplest information possible on the techniques I commonly use. Every patient is different, and this general information must be adapted to each one of them.
